Licensed Professional Counselor Associate – Texas
(Supervised by Deena Shelton, PhD, LPCS, ACS)
Hi there! I love helping people to find healing from emotional and psychological struggles. Therapy played a vital role in my own recovery from anxiety and panic, and my journey in identity development. It created a passion for helping others see that there is hope, and that change is possible. I love what I do!
I offer telehealth counseling to adults, children (12+), and couples. My approach is holistic, evidence-based, and solution-focused and is trauma-informed. I have experience with wide range of clients, and I am trained to diagnose and treat a variety of concerns, such as: anxiety, panic, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, bipolar, grief and loss, life adjustments, post-traumatic stress, complex traumatic stress, identity issues, relationship stress, spirituality, sexual orientation questions, gender identity, sexual dysfunction, psychosis, personality disorders, substance use, addiction, and many other issues.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University as well as over 18 years living abroad in Africa and Europe. My training and some areas of focus include: trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, a certificate in trauma healing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), existential therapy, marriage and family therapy, sex therapy. I am fluent in both French and English.
I grew up in sunny southern California and in my free time, I love to hike in the mountains, watch movies, and cheer wildly for my Minnesota Vikings with my husband and kids! I look forward to hearing from you!
